The Department of Psychology at Harvard University invites applications for a Lecturer in Clinical Psychology to begin in Fall 2019. The Lecturer will teach courses in the Clinical Science curriculum at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Teaching responsibilities will constitute up to four courses per academic year. The Lecturer will also contribute to the Department by assisting in the clinical training and practicum experiences of students in the Clinical Science PhD program. This will include acting as a liaison between the students, academic program faculty, and the training sites.
The appointment is for three years, contingent upon a successful review after the first year. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue on a rolling basis until the position is filled. Applications will be considered complete only when all three letters have been received. The target start date for the position is between July 1 – September 1, 2019.
Candidates are required to have a PhD in clinical psychology from an APA-accredited program.
We are especially interested in candidates who have several years of post-doctoral clinical or teaching experience; are licensed or license-eligible in Massachusetts; have a strong record of teaching excellence; have familiarity with APA and PCSAS accreditation requirements; and possess excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills.
