: 

The Department of Modern and Classical Languages at the University of Houston invites applications for part-time and/or full-time lecturers in French to teach language courses at all levels of the undergraduate curriculum.  
 To apply candidates must provide a letter of interest, a current Curriculum Vitae, and provide contact information (email addresses) for two references. Letters will be requested for finalists later.

Qualifications

: 

Experience in teaching French language at all levels of the curriculum is required. Native or near-native proficiency in French and English and an MA degree in French, comparative literature or equivalent is required.

  Notes to Applicant: Official transcripts of all academic degrees are required for a faculty appointment and will be requested upon selection of the final candidate. All positions at the University of Houston are security sensitive and will require a criminal history check.
