Job Summary

Purdue University’s Department of Physics and Astronomy is seeking a Lecturer. The successful candidates will teach calculus and algebra-based introductory physics courses at the freshman and sophomore level.  The candidate will also work with staff and TAs, assist in coordinating courses, and carry out instructional goals. Start date is Jan. 8, 2024.  Starting academic-year salary is in the $59,488 to $63,814 range, commensurate with experience. 


Qualifications

Candidates must have M.S. (or equivalent) in physics or in closely related areas.  Two years of experience in physics teaching at the junior college or university level desired.
