Purdue University Northwest invites applications to fill one non-tenure-track teaching position at the rank of Lecturer in the Department of Construction Science and Organizational Leadership in the College of Technology. The successful candidate is expected to teach undergraduate courses in the areas of Materials and Systems of Construction, Specifications and Contract Documents, Construction Operations, Surveying, Fundamentals of Construction Safety, Construction Inspection, Construction Costs & Bidding, Engineering Economics for Construction, Construction Scheduling, Construction Management, Principles of Highway Construction, Concrete Construction, Mechanical and Electrical Systems. Opportunities for interacting with regional businesses are excellent and encouraged. The initial contract term is one year, to begin August 15, 2022. Contract renewal is subject to satisfactory performance and availability of funding for the position.

The Department of Construction Science and Organizational Leadership offers two ABET-accredited baccalaureate degree programs: Construction Engineering and Management Technology and Organizational Leadership and Supervision, which also houses an Environmental Health & Safety concentration.
