Job Description

The Operations & Information Management (OIM) Department of the Isenberg School of Management invites applications for a full-time Lecturer position, non-tenure track, in Business Statistics to start in September 2024.

The Lecturer will join a team of faculty noted for excellence and innovation in undergraduate and graduate education. The successful candidate will work with faculty and advising staff to assess student outcomes and foster student success.

Requirements

Candidates must have a doctoral degree from an accredited institution of higher education by September 1, 2024 in an area such as Statistics, Operations Management, Information Systems, or a related discipline. This full-time position requires teaching six course sections per academic year, plus providing departmental service. Teaching responsibilities include multiple graduate level sections of the course Statistics for Business, and other courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels as needed. Expertise in at least one statistical software platform (e.g., Excel, Tableau) and Canvas Learning Management System is desirable. Demonstrated ability, or potential, to teach business statistics at the undergraduate and graduate levels in face-to-face and distance education formats is required.

The department has a thriving undergraduate program in Operations & Information Management (with career opportunities in Information Systems and Supply Chain Management), contributes to a highly reputed MBA program, and also coordinates the Ph.D. track in Operations & Information Management for the doctoral program in Business Administration.
