: 

The American Sign Language Interpreting Program is hiring part-time lecturers for classroom instruction (day & evening) on an as needed basis. Instructional content areas of particular need are: American Sign Language level 1, American Sign Language level 2, American Sign Language level 3, American Sign Language level 4. The primary textbook used for instruction is the Signing Naturally series. 
Applicants should provide a letter of interest, a list of professional references and a current curriculum vitae. Applicants should also provide a link to 3-5 minute video in ASL describing their teaching philosophy and qualifications.

Qualifications

: 

For lecturer positions, the Communication Sciences and Disorders department prefers a doctorate degree, and a minimum of a Master's degree with three or more years of teaching experience is required. Native or near-native proficiency in American Sign Language is required.  ASLTA certification is preferred. Professional references will be contacted.
