Job Title: Learning Experience Designer
Reporting Relationship: Director of Learning Experience Design

Summary of Position: The Learning eXperience Designer (LXD) shares in the responsibility of designing the whole process of effective learning experiences by applying learning science research and focusing on the learner, as outlined in the LXD Elements for IWU National and Global. He/She is self-motivated, creative, and thrives in challenging situations where continuous learning and collaboration are an expectation. In this position, technical skills using current software applications and competency in digital learning asset development is expected. A key responsibility for the LXD is to serve in course development teams in the role of Instructional Designer (ID) leading the design and development of a course by collaborating with project stakeholders to align efforts with quality standards, adult learning theory, expected learning outcomes, and required timelines.
