Position Summary: 

Reporting to the Inpatient Rehab Supervisor, the Physical Therapist III Lead supports the clinical staff and supervisor by coordinating staff schedules, assisting in the organization and implementation of onboarding, competencies and new hire orientation. Works closely with the rehab supervisor to facilitate and maintain adequate staffing levels, educates staff on the implementation of new processes and efficiencies. Provides input to supervisors and managers regarding staff therapists' clinical teaching skills and ongoing education needs and competencies of the department.  When providing clinical care as a therapist, provides a full range of physical therapy services including evaluation, treatment planning, therapeutic interventions, and discharge planning.  Acts as a clinical resource for staff.

Salary Range: 

Hourly Rate  Minimum   $60.56              Midpoint    $70.25              Maximum  $79.93

 

Required Qualifications:

 

 

Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

If assigned to work with infants and children aged 0 to 21, CCS paneling/approval will be required within one year of hire if qualified for CCS paneling requirement

Physical Therapy License or proof of eligibility from California Board of Physical Therapy

Minimum 10 years of clinical experience as a licensed PT

Must possess the skill, knowledge, and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties

Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
