Lead Faculty, Doctor of Nursing Practice Program

Franklin University is seeking a full-time, 12-month, Faculty member for its Doctor of Nursing Practice Program. Franklin University is a private, independent, accredited, not-for-profit University located in Columbus, Ohio. The DNP Lead Faculty role includes primary responsibility for teaching, instructional coaching and support of adjunct faculty for face-to-face and on-line courses, facilitation of the DNP Practicum, service on university committees, scholarship, networking/participation in the professional community, and promoting teaching effectiveness, sector and university requirements as needed. Faculty members work in collaboration with instructional designers, practitioners in the field, our in-house multimedia group and peers to create adult-centered active-learning courses. Candidates will have the flexibility of a hybrid or remote work schedule, with the expectation of being onsite as necessary.

This position requires candidates to possess an earned doctorate in field appropriate to the teaching discipline, from an institutional (formerly regional) accredited university and a current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license, maintained throughout employment. In addition, the candidate must possess at least four years of practical experience in a wide variety of areas within the discipline and have at least two years of prior teaching experience. Prior experience as a full-time faculty in a DNP program with involvement in DNP projects is preferred.
