Summary of Job Duties:

Under the supervision of the Registrar, the Law School Associate Registrar is responsible for managing academic records and coordinating registration at the School of Law. Assist current and prospective students with a variety of inquiries and topics; supports the Associate Dean of Academics Office by providing communication and support to Adjunct Faculty including onboarding and review.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • The formal education equivalent of a bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field

  • At least three years of progressively more responsible experience in student registration activities or a related area

  • Demonstrated advanced reporting skills including use of Excel


Preferred Qualifications:

  • UA Connect/Workday experience


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:


* Knowledge of the development and organization of various higher education (especially law), academic programs
* Knowledge of campus and community resources
* Knowledge of state, federal, and campus rules, regulations, and requirements related to campus academic and social programs
* Knowledge of accreditation and certification requirements and standards
* Knowledge of the rules, regulations, and laws regarding student records
* Knowledge of computerized student information systems
* Knowledge of online degree audit reporting system (if applicable)
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
* Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications
* Employee development and performance management skills
* Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities
* Ability to coordinate the activities of Law School academic and/or student programs
* Ability to evaluate collected information and formulate recommendations
* Ability to compile the information into report form
* Ability to develop and maintain recordkeeping systems and procedures
* Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports
* Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
* Ability to use independent judgment and to manage and impart confidential information
