Required Degree: JD, foreign equivalent, or PhD in a related field.  Required degree must be completed by the start date.

Duties/Expectations

The J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University is seeking applicants for a one-year visiting fellowship with the possibility of renewal for a second year. The Visiting Fellow will participate fully in the intellectual and spiritual life of the Law School. There is no teaching assignment. The Visiting Fellow will attend regular works-in-progress discussions on faculty scholarship, present their own scholarship to faculty members, and otherwise work to develop their own research agenda and scholarship. During the first year, the Visiting Fellow will be expected to write and present at least one full-length law review article. Fellows who are renewed for a second year will continue to develop their scholarship while also going on the legal academic job market. All fellows will be expected to remain in residence at BYU Provo for the extent of their fellowship.
