This posting is for a part-time, non-benefits, non-tenure track (NTT) Lecturer position with Bar Prep Emphasis at the University of Houston Law Center (UHLC). This non-tenure track appointment will have no presumption of renewal. The salary range for this position is commensurate with experience.  The appointment term is 12 months or 9 months (full academic year, fall and spring semester) or one semester (fall or spring or summer). 
The position's responsibilities include courses and/or workshops. The courses are semester‑length activities. The workshops are for student Bar Prep and have varying audiences and topics. The workshops are arranged during the two months in advance of the February and July administrations of the Texas bar and primarily are offered to students on evenings and weekends. 
There is an existing Law Center faculty member who delivers courses and workshops.  The appointee to the position will work in conjunction with this faculty member to deliver sections of courses and workshops, as arranged by the Law Center’s Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Professor Greg R. Vetter.
An attorney appointed to the position must, at a minimum, hold a J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
This Lecturer appointment is a NTT position and the appointee will accrue no time toward tenure at the University of Houston.  Further information about the Law Center and its programs is available at: http://www.law.uh.edu . .
