Occasional lifting and moving of objects up to and over 50 lbs, occasional repetitive motion. Occasional farm and greenhouse work with no air conditioning or heating.

Job Summary
The Soil and Water Quality laboratory within the Plant and Soil Sciences Department in the Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food, and Environment is seeking a Senior Laboratory Technician to join our team. This position is a key in laboratory support role for ongoing agriculture and urban water quality research projects across Kentucky. Minimal travel may be required, with the majority of work being on campus or nearby University of Kentucky farms. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, ability to work with others, able to supervise undergraduate laboratory assistants and follow all laboratory and field safety protocols.
