Requirements
Laboratory Technician, Neuroscience Department – Georgetown University Medical Center
The Laboratory Technician provides technical support for newly funded grant that relies on animal breeding, care, behavioral, neurophysiological and biochemical assays. Reporting to a Research Professor, they have duties include but are not limited to:
- Performs experiments related to neuronal plasticity changes in Alzheimer’s/depression modules
- Takes care of lab animals
- Performs laboratory maintenance, including ordering and reconciling grant supplies
Qualifications
- Master’s degree
- Experience in molecular neuroscience research
