Job Summary
In the Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology at Harvard University, we research and teach how the collective behavior of molecules and cells forms the basis of life. We are driven by a passion for discovery and value collaborative approaches to scientific inquiry, where connections between people fuel interdisciplinary science and break boundaries across varied experimental systems.
Against a backdrop of cutting-edge biological research, we work as a team of educators and mentors to inspire and train the next generation of scientists and global citizens. The Denic Lab is a research group interested in uncovering and dissecting the molecular mechanisms guiding fundamental processes in cell biology, such as protein folding and assembly of large macromolecular structures. We are looking for an exceptionally motivated Laboratory Technician to join our team with experience in molecular biology. The individual will contribute to the intellectual development of a project, attend, present at lab meetings, and have opportunities to take part in publications. All previous technicians in the lab have been students who are taking a few years between undergraduate and graduate school, and then move on to MD or PhD programs.
