  • JOB DUTIES

Description

As a Lab Tech 2 of the Core Lab, you will provide administrative, technical, and maintenance support. You will perform pre- and post-analytical activities such as accessioning and processing of patient specimens, chemistry processing, Roche MPA loading, operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, troubleshooting specimen/test order problems, monitoring inventories of supplies and reagents used in diagnostic testing filing, answering phones, filing, and participating in special studies as required by the laboratory and medical staff. Salary Range: $31.82 – $41.96/hour



  • JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent (e.g. GED or HiSET). • Ability to work outside of your normal schedule based on operational needs. • Proficient in using a computer. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Superb attention to detail. • Excellent organizational and time-management skills. • Team player mentality. • Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance. • Ability to stand, sit, walk, stoop, or bend for extended periods of time.
