  • JOB DUTIES

Description

Join our team at the Immunogenetics Center as a Laboratory Technician 2, where you’ll play a vital role in client services. Your primary duties will include: • Answer incoming calls and address service problems, requests for patient and/or client information for clinical reports. • Prepare and send supplies to clients, including inventory management and ordering of all client supplies and department supplies. • Identify specimen types, reviewing labels/orders, and ensuring volume stability of specimens. • Receive and accession client specimens. • Perform specimen processing related to clinical testing using laboratory equipment. • Monitor and facilitate the internal routing of specimens, requisitions, and reports. • Perform data entry in LIS and maintaining inventory of supplies. • Handle administrative tasks such as printing, scanning, faxing, and filing reports. Salary Range: $32.77 – $43.22/hour



  • JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications

· High School diploma or equivalent (e.g. HiSET or GED). · At least 2 years of customer service experience in a clinical laboratory setting. · Outstanding customer service skills. · Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. · Ability to work a flexible schedule based on operational needs. · Superb time management and organizational skills.
