Job Summary
The Clinical Laboratory at UK Healthcare is seeking an experienced Lab technologist to assist in the standardization of Point of Care testing in multiple ambulatory clinic locations. The primary role would be supervise the Ambulatory POC team and to create training modules and competency tools for POC tests performed in the clinic locations and train Ambulatory staff and develop tools for adherence to regulatory standards. This position will report to the Ambulatory Lab Manager and the section Medical Director. This employee will serve as a resource for all Ambulatory POC testing staff. Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
MS Excel, word, knowledge of CAP and TJC compliance.
Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? Yes
Preferred Education/Experience
MT or MLS certified (ASCP) and 5 years of laboratory experience preferred.
