Job Description:
- Supports staff hiring processes, including developing job descriptions, interviewing and reference checking, handling employment offers, and conducting orientation. Maintains appropriate human resources data and records.
- May help counsel employees on benefits and compensation. Coordinates with managers and senior colleagues to determine employee compensation. Analyzes data and prepares charts, graphs, and trend lines for management review with a moderate to high level of guidance.
- Leads the scheduling of substitute teachers in collaboration with school division administrators; determines when a sub is needed, answers questions throughout the day as needed.
- Leads the recruitment and selection of substitute teachers.
- Leads the processing of substitute teacher payroll.
- Schedules meetings, interviews, training, and unit orientations.
- Operates the automated substitute system, including data entry and generating reports.
- Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
- Assists with payroll and ad-hoc HR projects.

Preferred Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelorâ™s degree.
Experience:
- Experience working with Workday or other Human Resources Information Systems.
- Working knowledge of typical human resources procedures.
- Experience working in a school setting.
Preferred Competencies
- Demonstrated experience delivering quality customer service.
- Strong analytical skills.
Working Conditions
- Sit for up to 2 hours.
- Use computers extensively for 4 hours or more.
- Climb stairs up to 2 stories.
- Stand for up to 2 hours.
- Use standard office equipment.
