Qualifications

REQUIRED:

Knowledge of basic genetics, molecular biology and biochemical principles.

Ability to perform complex organic chemical reactions.

Ability to use basic laboratory equipment. Radiation safety workers certification.

Ability to organize raw data into a comprehensible form.

Ability to maintain laboratory readiness for future experiments.

Knowledge of human and animal biomedical image analysis techniques.

Ability to communicate effectively to convey experimental results as demonstrated by scientific writing skills and oral presentation skills.

Interpersonal skills to effectively interact with faculty, staff, postdoctoral fellows and students.

Demonstrated PET-related computer skills including knowledge of UNIX based systems, SPM, NeuroQ and CAPP as well as work in Excel, MS Word, Windows, and Mac. 

Experience with preparing and obtaining proper institutional approvals and renewals required for implementation of experimental studies.

Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

Ability to work occasional overtime and weekends.
