Position Summary

The Cognitive Development and Neuroimaging Lab (CDNL) is looking for a lab & project manager, a full-time officer position, in
the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Reporting to the CDNL director, the incumbent will manage the lab’s day-to-day
operations, supervise the lab’s research assistants and volunteers, oversee recruitment and onboarding of new employees, and
develop diversity and inclusion initiatives. Additionally, the incumbent will supervise data collection across the 3 research study
protocols funded by NIMH.


Responsibilities

  • Plan and prioritize the lab’s day-to-day operations to allocate and adjust resources, schedules, and tasks for
    the lab’s study research assistants and volunteers.
  • Train and supervise research assistants in imaging data acquisition and processing.
  • Work closely with research assistants to develop and implement protocols to study day visits.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training of new employees.
  • Lead diversity and inclusion initiatives in the lab.
  • Perform related duties & responsibilities as assigned/requested.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, Computer Science or other related fields or equivalent in education and experience; 4 years related experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Organizational Psychology 
  • At least 5 years of related experience working in a neuroimaging research lab, collaborating with faculty and research assistants.
  • At least 5 years of experience working with children (infant to school-aged children) and/or patients with psychiatric disorders.

Other Requirements

  • Must successfully complete online systems training requirements
  • Involved with patients and/or research subjects
  • Experience in collecting, processing, and checking neuroimaging data
  • Experience supervising a team
  • Experience overseeing recruitment, interviews, and onboarding processes in an academic institution
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, writing and communication skills
  • Interest in developing diversity and inclusion initiatives
