Posting Summary	Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Lab Technician for the Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences Institute. Among the key duties of this position are the following: Works on a research project investigating the effects of exposure to endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs) on female uterine endometrium functions, including developing 3D endometrium organoids using human primary endometrium stromal cells. Reviews NCATS dataset to identify EDCs exhibiting progesterone/estrogen receptor antagonistic effects. Conducts exposure experiments and toxicity evaluation using the 3D endometrium organoid model.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience	High school/vocational school education or equivalent with coursework completed in the relevant science area(s). One year of research study experience. An equivalent amount of college-level study in an appropriate science curriculum may be substituted for the experience.
Certifications/Licenses	Use of personal vehicle in order to travel for business demands; a valid driver’s license would be required for this position.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities	Practical understanding and a working knowledge of basic scientific techniques. The ability to record and maintain data in computerized and non-computerized formats. Must be able to communicate effectively.
