  • JOB DUTIES

Description

Manage the operations of a quantitative image analysis laboratory which is part of a computer vision and imaging biomarker research center, using analysis software for research studies and clinical trials. Monitor the status of multiple projects; manage resources to ensure analyses are delivered accurately and on time; set up tracking databases and dashboards; supervise and train laboratory staff; develop standard operating procedures. Actively contribute to the development and evaluation of novel image analysis AI software and lead its implementation into lab workflows. Ensure high quality analyses and compliance with FDA and HIPAA regulations; work with and report to faculty, collaborating scientists, and clinical trial sponsors. Support new departmental AI initiatives, and expand portfolio and protocols for image annotation. This position offers part-time work-from-home benefit. Annual rate: $93,771 to $154,900/year



  • JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications

Required: * Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering or a related field. * Two years of experience in job offered, or as a medical image analyst or a related occupational title. * Demonstrated knowledge of quantitative medical imaging techniques and core lab processing workflows. * Experience working with image processing applications and workstations including Vital Images, Osirix, Visage, Siemens Syngo to process and generate high quality 3D, multi-planar and angiographic images. * Demonstrated understanding of Linux environment. Demonstrated experience executing command line scripts. Experience with project and personnel management for medical imaging core lab services and related software development, installation and support. * Experience in medical imaging AI software R&D, in particular workflow implementation and evaluation. University course in physiology. * Experience working with imaging modalities and DICOM format. * Demonstrated knowledge of FDA and HIPAA regulations related to imaging-based clinical trials.
