Primary Purpose:
Responsible for the day to day operations of an Immediate Response Laboratory (IRL) or a functional laboratory section, I.e., chemistry, toxicology, microbiology, flow cytometry, etc. Provides management expertise for the completing of the workload in a timely and accurate manner; ensures efficient and effective operations; maintains analytical equipment in good working order; maintains and adequate quantity of supplies; and assess the competency of the staff.

Qualifications

 

Knowledge and Skills:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Biological Science or Medical Technology.

Years of Experience: A minimum of 4 years experience in a functional area.

Required Skills and Knowledge: Superior time management, planning and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Critical thinking skills to support quality decision making.
