Job Summary
The person hired is expected to organize activities of the culture, social ecology, and well-being lab, including scheduling of lab, assistance in data collection and analysis, and literature search.
Responsibilities
Organizing daily lab activities.
Assisting pre-registration, data collection, data cleaning, data visualization, and data analysis.
Assisting literature search, editing study materials, papers and chapters.
Supervising and training undergraduate research assistants, scheduling shifts, monitoring their day-to-day activity, and approving time.
Provides technical and administrative support for a research project.
Assists with the installation, sets up and performs experiments; interacting with students and other laboratory staff under the direction of the principal investigator
Performs other related work as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Minimum requirements include vocational training, apprenticeships or the equivalent experience in related field (not typically required to have a four-year degree).---

Preferred Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related disciplines.
Experience:
At least two years of research experience.
Technical Skills or Knowledge:
Desired qualifications include familiarity with Quatrics
Multivariate statistics, modeling, and/or one or more computational approaches (e.g., machine learning, computerized text analysis, agent-based modeling)
Experience with coding, processing, and managing data using R.
Preferred Competencies
Excellent upper-undergraduate level knowledge of psychology.
Demonstrated skills and knowledge to appreciate cultural diversity.
Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent writing and communication skills.
