Responsibilities

We are seeking a Lab Assistant to help with sample biobanking, data entry into lab database, and organization of procurement logs. Additional duties include collecting mammalian tissue culture; RT and real time PCR; immunofluorescence/immunohistochemistry; ordering necessary laboratory consumables and equipment; preparing and maintaining laboratory directories of patient samples; transporting patient samples from/to the TPCL.

Qualifications

•Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols
•Understanding of basic laboratory techniques
•Working knowledge of laboratory equipment
•Ability to modify work schedule to meet changing demands
•Excellent communication skills
•Strong time management and organization skills
