Position Summary:
 
Under supervision, the incumbent carry out research in Neurosciences. Incumbent uses molecular biology, biochemical and other methods; assists with implementation of laboratory management including placing orders, and maintains supplies, as well as experiments to provides general lab assistance.

The expected pay range for this recruitment is $22.00 - $25.88 (Hourly Rate). The Full Salary Range for the salary grade this position is assigned to is $22.00 - $25.88 (Hourly Rate).

Required:
 
  • Knowledge of basic molecular biology and anatomy. 
  • Skill to perform repetitive procedures with precision such as pipetting. 
  • Skill to work both in a collaborative setting and independently. 
  • Written and verbal skills.

 
Preferred:
 
  • Experience in neurosurgical techniques such as stereotaxic implantation of cannulae. 
  • Experience in animal handling and behavior. Knowledge of policies and procedures regarding animal subjects.
