The Lab Assistant I will support research in the areas of cancer and stem cell biology. Responsibilities include assisting in preparing cell culture of mouse pluripotent stem cells and human cancer cells. Under daily supervision of PI and a postdoctoral fellow in the lab, the Lab Assistant will assist in the research by maintaining mammalian cell cultures, and assisting postdoctoral fellow in bench work by making solutions and buffers. 




  • Skill to collect, process, and analyze experimental molecular data.
  • Ability to problem solve, work independently and as part of a team.
  • Working knowledge and experience in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology.
  • Skill to maintain accurate scientific records.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.


  • Basic knowledge of Unix, R and Python.
  • Perform multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences.
