Position Summary Information


General Information
Federal Work Study ONLY
Hours: 1015-230 pm Tuesday/Thursday
(only apply if you are able to work these specific hours)
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage open skills lab hours (HBS 2034)
  • Ensure students follow lab use guidelines
  • Assist with lab security and monitor consumable supplies during open lab activities
  • Organize and prepare lab environments, supplies, and equipment for instructional purposes- report issues as directed
  • Inspect, clean, and organize lab equipment and spaces as appropriate
  • Restock labs/carts with consumable supplies- report consumable supply needs as directed
  • Support simulation experiences as needed
  • Assist with lab experiences utilizing audiovisual technology 

Qualifications
  • Reliable, prompt, and able to adhere to prescribed work schedule
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to initiate projects and be self-directed in completing tasks
  • Advanced computer skills with regard to Windows and MAC operating systems
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and complete tasks in a timely manner
  • Ability to collaborate with faculty, students, staff, and college members
  • Ability to organize and problem-solve

Conditions of Employment

Students must be degree-seeking students, enrolled on at least a half-time basis (6 credits for undergraduate and 5 credits for graduate).
