Position Information: Responsible for the daily care of research animals, to include but not limited to cage cleaning and sanitation, handling and restraining animals, feeding, treatments, and facility maintenance.

Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: None
Department Preference:
Oklahoma state driver’s license
This is an entry-level position.
Any experience working with animals (lab or farm) would be helpful; but it is not required for this position.
Physical Requirements:
Due to the physical requirements of this position, the candidate must be able to lift 30 pounds
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Knowledge of all applicable requirements, regulations, and laws.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
- Ability to identify, address issues and deficiencies, and implement effective solutions.
- Ability to handle all types of animals.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
