Required Related Experience
Applicants must be 19 years of age or older by August 1, 2022 for employment. Experience in the position for which the applicant is applying is preferred.
Required License/Registration/Certification
Applicants applying for an aquatics or Camp Program Educator position must possess a lifeguard certification from a nationally recognized organization valid through the entirety of summer and/or complete an aquatics training and certification session with 4-H staff. Lifeguards must be able to swim up to 500 yards lap swim without stopping, tread water for 2 minutes without use of hands, and retrieve a 10 pound object from 10 feet of water without goggles. 
 
Applicants applying for a healthcare provider position must possess an EMT certification (or higher) from a nationally recognized organization valid through the entirety of summer.
Physical Requirements
Applicant must be available to work long hours in a noisy environment, work in outside/hot conditions, and be on feet for long periods of time while adhering to current  COVID-19 guidelines.
Shift
Days, nights, and some weekends. Staff are expected to live on the camp property and follow COVID-19 safety recommendations while on and off duty. Internship positions are mid-May 2022 through early August 2022.
Job Summary
Kentucky 4-H Camping is seeking summer staff who can provide exceptional customer service, high-quality educational programming, and endless fun for the 13,000+ campers and volunteers attending four residential 4-H camp facilities for summer 2022: (Lake Cumberland 4-H Camp, Nancy; Feltner 4-H Camp, London; North Central 4-H Camp, Carlisle; West Kentucky 4-H Camp, Dawson Springs)
 
Available intern positions include (varies by locations):Healthcare Providers, Program Educator, Shooting Sports, Leadership Development, Challenge Course, Environmental Education, Agriculture Education, and Aquatics. To view job descriptions and responsibilities visit www.4hcampjobs.com.
