Minimum Acceptable Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor Degree within Computer Science or closely related field of study
  • Minimum 1 years of professional IT experience within IT Development which includes demonstrated experience in developing and/or modifying new and existing applications, including requirement analysis, design, code, test, debug, implementation and maintenance.
  • Preferred Qualifications:

    • Demonstrated working knowledge of: HTML, JavaScript, CSS, JQuery, Bootstrap, SQL, Python and/or PHP, Git, Laravel and/or Django, MVC design patterns, Apache and/or Nginx, Virtual Hosts, Docker, SSL Certificate and DNS Management, CentOS7, Consuming REST APIs.
    • Working with HIPAA data (certification required, training provided by university).
    • Demonstrated understanding of SQL injections, Cross Site scripting, Cross Site Request Forgery.
    • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Perform website usability analysis, user-design and user-testing, website traffic monitoring and reporting (e.g. visitor traffic, referral sources).
    • Demonstrated track record of web project management, preferably in a University setting Working knowledge of project management tools (e.g. MS-Project, Clarity, Eclipse); PMP certification a plus.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
