Glimpse of the Day

Working with the Health Technology Care Team, you will be the first point of contact for our campus members including, students, staff, faculty, affiliates, and visitors. You will be supporting campus members by efficiently resolving incidents as a first contact resolution where possible and triaging and assigning others to the appropriate local support group or escalation team. End User Support Specialists assist campus members through a variety of channels including, phone calls, emails, chats, remote sessions, and self-service incidents. The Health Science Center has locations across the state of Texas and as a member of the Health Technology Care Team, you will be supporting all locations.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Four months (1 semester) of student worker and/or customer service experience

  • Strong customer service focus

  • Effective listening and inquiry skills to ensure understanding of customer needs and desired out-comes

  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues remotely

  • Ability to document issues and resolutions

  • Call center experience not required though is a plus

  • Some experience troubleshooting information technology issues across PC and/or Mac is preferred
