About the Department
The technology support unit in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions supports critical university operations. The unit is key to the operation of systems and processes that both the department and university rely on for the enrollment of students to the university. It has an essential role in managing technology within the office and collaborating with campus stakeholders and vendors to ensure the mission and goals of the office are met.
Essential Job Duties
The primary purpose of this position is to project manage new technology implementation in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. This position liaises with consultants and other campus stakeholders to deliver the mission critical goals of the department. The position also has an ancillary purpose in data analysis and problem-solving skills to maintain data integrity and system efficiencies along with the IT Business Analyst.
Duties include but are not limited to the following:

Technology Project Management:
  • Develop processes to facilitate technology project implementation of CRM and future technology initiatives.
  • Project Management for CRM (Slate) and other technology initiatives.
  • Manage implementation processes with internal and external stakeholders to meet agreed upon deadlines.
  • Work with stakeholders (internal and external to admissions) to enhance and best utilize the CRM.
  • Collaborate with admissions leadership and team members on other CRM projects as needed.

Office Training and Documentation:
  • Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement and Evaluate training for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. The largest part of the training and documentation will involve those trainings necessitated by the implementation of new systems and processes.

IT Systems Help and Data Integrity:
  • Use strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve issues.
  • Help analyze data/system report needs and work to develop solutions.

Import to System:
  • Import test scores into CRM and SIS. Prioritizes data loading into system while maintaining accuracy.
  • Problem solve any missing score data and work to a resolution of the issue.
Other Responsibilities
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications


Minimum Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training and relevant experience.
Other Required Qualifications
  • Experience working with various computer systems.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication & collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with various CRM systems,
  • Building reports, analyzing data, and communicating solutions.
