Program Assistant for Int'l Study Programs

BYU's Kennedy International Center is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team. As a (part-time) Program Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting and enhancing the international study experiences of our students. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the educational development of BYU students and foster cross-cultural understanding.

What you'll do in this position:

  • Travel logistics.
  • Supporting student participants.
  • Events and marketing.
  • General office management.

What qualifies you for this role:

   Required:  

  • A firm commitment to the mission of BYU.
  • Bachelor's degree OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree plus 2 years university work experience OR equivalent university work experience.

Skills, abilities, knowledge, licenses, certifications:

  • Must be dependable, organized, and able to prioritize multiple tasks (required)
  • Excellent computer skills, including MS Office and database software (required)
  • Excellent phone and public relations skills (required)
  • Ability to keep information confidential (required)
  • Ability to work as a team member and independently (required)
  • Past participation on a BYU International Study Program (preferred)
  • Experience with and understanding of BYU policies and international programs (preferred)

Approximate Starting Salary: $19.25 to $25.00/hour (DOE)
