Physical Requirements
At times there is lifting, pushing and pulling of objects of 50lbs or more in prepping the teaching lab for simulations.
Shift
Monday–Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm, evening and weekends as workload requires.
Job Summary
The College of Nursing invites qualified applicants for our open position entitled Information Services Technical Support Specialist IV.
The Simulation Instructional Support Specialist of the Clinical Simulation and Learning Center (CSLC) is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the center along with logistics. This position will assist the CSLC Director and others in the day-to-day operation and strategic development of a high-fidelity medical simulation environment and lab spaces. Acts as the liaison between the CSLC and students. This includes developing and implementing simulation as an educational modality for the College of Nursing.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Experience with healthcare simulation.
Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No
Preferred Education/Experience
Experience with logistics and facility operations, vendor management, learning management systems, and an understanding of medical clinical practices, equipment and facilities (preferred)
