Job Overview

Opportunity to join a small, stable, cohesive, and ambitious investment team managing $2 billion of endowment as well as additional short-term capital in managers focused on a wide variety of investment types, including both traditional and alternative investments. Our team’s successful ten-year track record includes special focus on difficult-to-access buyout, growth, and venture capital managers. In order to support highly collaborative team process, work location will be primarily in-person with hybrid flexibility as appropriate.


Essential Functions
  • Manage flow of investment opportunities: screen and track investment opportunities including hedge funds, private equity funds, real estate funds, traditional long-only equity and fixed income funds, and separately-managed accounts.
  • Monitor existing portfolio: conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses of the endowment portfolio, including analyses of current portfolio allocations, historical return patterns, current managers' underlying portfolios, etc.
  • Analyze investment performance: calculate and analyze investment performance of the primary endowment portfolio, underlying portfolios, and individual managers relative to benchmarks, peers, and absolute return targets.
  • Execute investments: assume leadership role in executing new investments, transitions, rebalancing. Oversee legal process, including coordinating with outside legal counsel, inside legal counsel, and the investment team. Oversee investment administration including wire transfers, execution of subscription documents, cash management, decision documentation, etc.
  • Manage financial market monitoring tools: create and maintain tools for monitoring financial market movements, valuations, capital flows, etc.
  • Prepare reports for investment team, clients and constituencies.

Required Education

Bachelor’s Degree must be in economics, finance, statistics or related field.


Required Experience

Two (2) years of experience in managing or analyzing investments.


Additional Qualifications Considered
  • Progress toward the CFA designation is ideal
  • Microsoft Excel and Bloomberg proficiency is a plus
  • Other Investment/CRM Software experience is helpful
