POSITION SUMMARY
The Inventory Control Analyst provides equipment inventory control, maintains adequate stock, monitors inventory levels and meets forecasting demands for the ?new? James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institution and Critical Care Tower, including the Emergency Department. The Inventory Control Analyst works closely with their designated departments and areas on equipment needs and is responsible for maintaining all equipment for those areas. This position will maintain updated files and produces reports in all level of equipment management. The Inventory Control Analyst will collaborate with purchasing and clinical engineering on vendor contract, warranties and maintenance programs. The Inventory Control Analyst will be responsible in maintaining vendor relationships. This position will work with vendors and advise customers in acquisition, receiving, inventory and Supply Chain Logistics questions along with solving discrepancies related to them. This position will be accountable for tracking non-capital equipment for their designated departments. The Inventory Control Analyst will work closely with their Assistant Director, Manager and fellow Inventory Control Analyst in ensuring building standards are implemented throughout the James campus. This position is encouraged to stay up to date in new equipment trends and will introduce need and improved ideas that will keep our facilities at high state of the art standards. This position follows compliance with appropriate patient care and business practice areas, and equipment operations twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week.

Minimum Education Required

Bachelor's Level Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred with 2-4 years of inventory management experience, or equivalent combination of experience and education, or considerable years of practical experience with background and product knowledge to perform inventory management in general and medical commodities. Must have in-depth knowledge of medical equipment and clinical engineering products.
