Minimum Requirements:

High School diploma or GED required and a minimum of 2 years of experience. Must have a valid Kentucky drivers license and forklift certification. Grade 2 (Hourly).

Position Description:

JOB TITLE:  Supply Chain Program Assistant

REPORTS TO:  Supply Chain Assistant Manager

DEPARTMENT:  Business Services - Procurement Services

JOB SUMMARY

Provide assistance to stockroom customers and fill orders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Pick/fill stockroom orders from e-mails and prepare alcohol orders.
  • Provide assistance to stockroom customers at the counter and answer the phone.
  • Enter usage ticket into Maximo for all the items issued/sold to departments by maintenance requests, stockroom orders, and custodial orders.
  • Sort incoming stockroom orders from receiving dock and store in appropriate stockroom area. Restock items as needed.
  • Responsible for completing the monthly alcohol report.
  • Provide coverage for central receiving when needed.
  • Communicate stockroom policies and procedures to the departments.
  • Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proven self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Inventory experience.
  • Ability to negotiate issues and resolve problems.
Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
