General Statement | The Office of Audit Services provides audit and advisory services that are independent, objective and risk based. Audit Services has a dual reporting relationship to the Office of the President and the Montana University System Office of the Commissioner of Higher Education. The Internal Auditor performs financial, compliance, and operational audits in accordance with professional internal auditing standards. Audits are conducted in conjunction with other auditors as a team or independently under the direction of a supervisor. Position Special Requirements/Additional Information | Must reside in Montana to be eligible for hire. This position is located at MSU-Bozeman, however, some travel (including overnight) to other campuses and related entities, meetings, conferences, or other activities is required. Must possess a valid driver’s license (or be able to attain one within the first six months), an acceptable driving record and meet all State of Montana requirements to operate State/University vehicles. Please do not send a copy of the driver’s license at this time. (If successful candidate possesses a valid out-of-state driver’s license, a valid Montana driver’s license must be obtained prior to travel.)
