Intern - Robotics Institute

Carnegie Mellon University’s Robotics Institute is searching for an Intern to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in an interesting and challenging work environment.

We are seeking creative and upbeat Intern that follows research plans in order to collect, record and manipulate research data. Maintains accurate and detailed research records.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzes/researches data.

• Attends meetings and participates in various seminars/training classes as needed.

• Plan for Outreach sessions -lessons, grouping. Must set up and break down classrooms each week.

• Facilitate group learning each week.

• Must be available for all 4 sessions: 6/27, 7/11, 7/18, 7/25

• Prepares reports and other dissemination and outreach materials.

• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School or GED

• Strong analytical skills

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Well developed technical skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Must be able to create Meep Boop robot kits and use a laptop

Certification:

• Child Protection Clearances Required.

Training:

• OSHA Hazardous Materials Safety Training
