SCAD seeks an energetic and meticulous Interactive Project Manager to help the university’s Interactive Services team achieve new standards of excellence and efficient productivity.  

You will be at the forefront of cross-department collaboration, working with partners, team leaders, designers, developers, and content strategists to create the university’s next generation of dynamic websites, mobile apps, email marketing, digital signage, and other multi-modal digital products.  

Exceptional organization and people skills are essential. You will be the team’s advocate in the daily communication pipeline, coordinating with team leaders to establish optimal workflows and timelines; facilitating team meetings and sprint planning; marshalling resources for timely asset delivery; and tracking and reporting on every step in a project’s lifespan from conception to launch and beyond. 

 

You are our ideal candidate if you have a clear understanding of interactive strategy, design, production and social media tactics, and a demonstrated ability to work with and manage people from a variety of professional backgrounds and communication styles. This role requires a detail-oriented multitasker who thrives on being in the heart of the action. You should also be a whiz with project management software and the Microsoft Office suite. 

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree required. 
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in project management with a digital agency or corporate creative environment focused on online initiatives. 
  • Ability to take direction and turn it into actionable and measurable project plans. 
  • Must be able to develop project scope and objective documentation, provide written communications on project status and maintain project records. 
  • The ability to maintain lofty standards and productivity while working remotely. 
  • Strong, conscientious written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Demonstrated capability in horizontally managing creative and technical staff. 
  • Advanced knowledge of Word and Excel. 
  • High degree of familiarity with enterprise-level project management platforms. 
  • Demonstrated experience working in a team environment and cultivating productive relationships. 

Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
