Position Summary:
The Integration Specialist is responsible for the development, management, operational support, and enhancements of integrations related to software applications. They partner with internal technology staff and outside vendors to ensure operational efficiency of integrations. This position contributes to the architecture of the University’s systems and provides support to senior technology management. They partner with system owners to understand their business requirements to enhance current software and future capabilities.
Position Duties:
·       Oversees administration and support of integration in academic and administrative systems across the University, with a focus on Ellucian’s Colleague ERP
·       Assists with identifying and delivering new technologies, enhancements to existing technologies, as well as providing operational support across the technology landscape. 
·       Envisions and drives integration architecture and assesses technical impact. 
·       Reviews and addresses the impact of software updates on existing systems and processes. 
·       Provides technical assistance to troubleshoot and resolve integration errors.
·       Partners with technology team in the development and execution of integration capabilities. 
·       Works with system owners, business partners, developers, and project managers to coordinate integration projects, evaluating, designing, and deploying solutions, as well as managing enhancements to ensure the end-to-end integrity of solutions. 
·       Works with security team to ensure systems and integrations adhere to the University security policies and protocols. 
·       Confers with senior management and system owners with anticipated problems regarding application integrations and solutions.
·       Maintains an awareness of the latest technological trends and introduces new products and processes to users, in accordance with best practices. 
·       Documents all technical solutions providing robust reference materials for processes and procedures. 
·       Ensures appropriate operational metrics are maintained and reported.
Additional Information:
This position should have Colleague knowledge and experience in determining the best method for how the data should flow, i.e. script, API, etc.  Ability to solve an error on an import, and ability to see if there other similar errors occurring across other systems. 
In-depth knowledge is needed of how servers and infrastructure work, understand infrastructure responsibilities such as active directory, so that this position can act as a liaison with the current Infrastructure team and Enterprise Applications.  Enterprise Applications works closely with the Infrastructure Department on most integrations.
Position will act as resource and partner for Assistant Directors and Associate Directors within Enterprise Applications. 
Required Qualifications
·       Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field
·       5 to 8 years of experience in application development
·       2 to 3 years of experience in developing and managing technology integrations. 
·       Experience with Ellucian’s ERP system Colleague, Envision, and Colleague Studio. 
·       Demonstrated API development experience. 
·       Experience with integrating systems on premise and in a cloud environment.
·       Strong technical skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft .Net, JavaScript, HTML, C#. 
·       Strong analytical skills with ability to gather requirements to create a design, as well as using logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of solutions and approaches to problems. 
·       Ability to master new technologies quickly. 
·       Strong organizational skills and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously with changing and conflicting priorities while maintaining consistent, quality performance standards.
·       Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
·       Ability to work independently as well as with a highly collaboratively team consisting of members from diverse backgrounds. 
·       Must be able to support the University’s goals for institutional diversity, as well as the goals and values of a Catholic, Jesuit education.
Preferred Qualifications
·       Master’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
