General Description / Primary Purpose
Integrated Solutions Engineer I under the direction of a Manager or above, assists in the design, development and implementation of departmental processes and/or programs. Recommends policies and procedures to ensure effective coordination of departmental programs.

Essential Duties


Job Function
- Administer, create, and support solutions for the university’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Enterprise Applications.
-Configure, develop, extend, maintain, and support 3rd party and locally written solutions to enhance the CRM solutions at the university.
- Configure and support various settings, modules and integrations of the Customer Relationship Management Systems, Integrations with the web, ERP and other information sources.
- Develop and support interfaces and integration points between the CRM, ERP and other systems.
- Advise and consult with customers in functional areas regarding requirements for Customer Relationship Management systems and translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
- Perform quality control activities such as monitoring, administering, testing, debugging, and documenting configurations, changes, and deployments.
- Deploy and support completed solutions to production.
- Plan, organize and document work efforts, prioritize multiple projects, and may coordinate and guide the technical efforts of other stakeholders.
- During declared campus emergencies, this position may be required to perform specific job-related duties at a designated off campus location or place of residence.

Marginal Functions
- Advises higher management on current trends in information technology that affect the direction and scope of sponsored research systems
- Must be able to interpret and apply University policy to CRM, ERP and related system configuration.
- Responsible for ensuring that automated information systems comply with federal, state, sponsored research, and University statutes, guidelines, and policies on confidentiality of information.
- Frequent and moderate level of internal business contact with personnel in functional areas for the purpose of determining system functional requirements.
- May lead in the preparation & delivery of workshops and training programs assigned by upper management
-Attends meetings of Information Technology Services staff; utilizes staff resources when situations require additional expertise.

This position requires either (a) Master’s degree from an acceptable accredited institution in a directly related area of specialization; (b) Bachelor’s degree from an acceptable accredited institution in a directly related area of specialization and two years of experience directly related to the job functions; or (c ) 6 years of direct experience.
