Under the supervision of the Associate Director for Integrated Mental Health Services, the Mental Health Provider will provide Behavioral Health and Counseling services in an integrated health care agency serving UW-Madison students across identities and programs. This position will have primary clinical responsibilities split between two main areas of Integrated Health. One aspect of the position will be serving as a member of our Behavioral Health Provider team. The other will be in providing Eating Disorder Services within the Mental Health Service department. Provision of Eating Disorder services will include a combination of brief counseling, group therapy, Eating Disorder assessments, and possibly care management services; |

Responsibilities: | Provides professional mental health counseling and consultation services for the campus community, incorporates a brief therapeutic model to address the emotional and behavioral needs of students, creates developmental programming to increase healthy lifestyle and coping behaviors across campus, and provides strategic direction and advocacy for university mental health policy and initiatives.

License/Certification: | Required: LPC - Licensed Professional Counselor or LMAFT - Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Must be LPC OR LMAFT licensed, license eligible, or be able to obtain a license to practice independently in the state of Wisconsin within one year of hire. If you are not currently licensed, but are working towards licensure, please include the number of training hours you have left to complete within your application materials. |
