The major in Interdisciplinary Liberal Arts in the College of Liberal Arts is a degree program combining humanities, arts, languages, literature, and social sciences so as to foster interdisciplinary knowledge, core career competencies, personal development, professional excellence, interpersonal confidence and expertise, and a deeper understanding of the complex world in which we live.

Position Summary
The College of Liberal Arts Dean’s Office hires part-time instructors to teach courses for the Interdisciplinary Liberal Arts major. Courses to be taught include research methods, documentary film as a liberal art, world literature, and senior capstone seminars.

Required Job Qualifications
MA (MFA/PhD for Special Assistant Professors) and evidence of excellent teaching capability at the college level required.
Demonstrated commitment to and evidence of excellence in teaching capability at the college level required.
Preferred Job Qualifications
Experience teaching courses related to Interdisciplinary approaches preferred.
Ability to advance Department’s commitment to diversity and inclusion through teaching and outreach.
