Position Summary:


A new faculty Instructor position is available in the lab of Dr. Jennifer Mulle, MHS, PhD in the Department of Psychiatry, with lab space located at the Center for Advanced Biotechnology and Medicine (CABM). The Instructor will lead studies of rare genetic variants associated with neurodevelopmental and psychiatric illness, using a variety of modalities to interrogate molecular and cellular consequences of copy number variants and single gene disorders.

Minimum Education and Experience:


The successful candidate will have a PhD in genetics, molecular biology, neuroscience, or a related field, plus several years' experience in academic or industrial research labs. Experience with iPSC technology, neuronal derivation, electrophysiology, neuronal morphology assays, neuronal proliferation assays, mitochondrial assays, RNASeq, Western blotting, PCR, and cell culture are preferred.
