Description of Work Unit | The Department of Forest and Rangeland Stewardship at Colorado State University is interdisciplinary with programs of emphasis in forestry, fire science, fire management, natural resource policy/planning, rangeland ecology, and restoration ecology. The Department’s faculty support the Warner College of Natural Resources and the University in fulfilling the Land Grant Mission in these programmatic areas. The Department offers undergraduate majors in Forestry, Rangeland Ecology, and Natural Resources Management in addition to master of science and doctor of philosophy degrees. |

Position Summary | This position will be assigned to teach an online class for the Fire and Emergency Services Administration (FESA) bachelor degree program. The department accepts applications on an ongoing basis from individuals who are interested in obtaining a part-time instructor position within the FESA program in the department of Forest and Rangeland Stewardship. Temporary positions may become available throughout the year. |

Required Job Qualifications | * Previous experience in fire service. * Master’s degree in relevant field or a combination bachelor’s degree, certification in a field directly related to teaching assignments, and online teaching experience. |
Preferred Job Qualifications | * Expertise, experience and knowledge of the course content as it relates to the fire and emergency service profession. * Experience interacting with students in an online forum. * Currently working in the Fire Service Industry. |
