Position Overview
Prepare and teach one section of MBA 6090 – Business Essentials – Operations and Supply Chain Management, 1.5 credits
Course description – Introduces essential topics and skills in the planning, designing and managing of operations and supply chain management in the firm. Topics include supply chain strategies, sourcing and supplier relationship management, demand planning, inventory management, sales and operations planning, MRP, global logistics and Industry 4.0. Includes a mix of lectures and online activities involving research, readings, case studies and tutorials.
This is a fully online, asynchronous course
Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare a well-organized syllabus and teaching plan that clearly reflects the course objectives as well as expectations, conduct well-prepared class sessions that effectively deliver the course content and engages students, administer meaningful and relevant assignments, and grade students’ work with an emphasis on student development.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Masters Degree preferred or substantial progress toward the terminal degree.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Teaching experience in the relevant area at the university level or professional training experience strongly preferred.
