Position Summary | The Department of Criminal Justice invites full-time faculty candidates for Instructor of Criminal Justice within the College of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences. This non-tenure-track faculty position will teach undergraduate courses in criminal justice. Full-time instructors at UIW are expected to teach five courses in the fall semester and five courses in the spring semester. In all matters, faculty are expected to maintain the highest standards of professional ethics consistent with the UIW Mission. Official duties and responsibilities of faculty members at the University include teaching, with service and professional activities as assigned. |

Required Education | Ph.D. in Criminal Justice, Criminology, or closely related field; ABD in said field with expected completion by assignment start date will be considered. |
Required Work Experience | Minimum of one (1) year of teaching experience in the field at the college or university level with demonstrated instructional competency via student and peer evaluation process. |
Preferred Qualifications | Two (2) or more years of teaching experience in the field at the college or university level with demonstrated instructional competency via student and peer evaluation process. |
Required Certifications, Licenses or Registrations | N/A. |
Work Hours | Based on course assignment. |
Physical Demands | Typical for faculty in this discipline. |
